Senior Onboarding Deputy Manager (m/f/d)

Ever bought a ticket for the Museumsinsel Berlin, the Belvedere in Vienna, or the Fondation Beyeler in Basel? That was us - with go~mus, our platform for 500+ museums and cultural institutions across Europe.

We're a team of 25 building SaaS solutions for visitor management. Part of the Tourism Software Group. Office in Berlin, flexible home office.

We're looking for a full-time addition to our onboarding team as deputy lead. You'll guide new museums and cultural venues from kickoff to go-live: remote, but also on-site with the customer. You'll work with both software and hardware - handheld scanners, POS hardware, self-checkout terminals. Until go-live, you're the person holding it all together.

We hire deliberately multilingual. Internally we speak German and English - with our international customers sometimes Dutch and French as well. For this role we need native-level German and English plus fluent French - all three are required.

Your tasks

  • Deputy lead of the onboarding team
  • Coordinate and run onboarding processes: kickoffs, regular customer meetings, go-lives, internal syncs with sales, support, customer success and product
  • On-site visits at customers - you're the face of Giant Monkey during setup and commissioning
  • Technical support during integration of our software and hardware (handheld scanners, POS hardware, SCO)
  • First point of contact for customers currently in onboarding
  • Project planning, documentation and controlling of ongoing projects
  • Continuously improve and document our onboarding workflows

Required skills

  • Several years of experience in support, onboarding, customer success or project management - ideally a mix of these
  • Strong hardware affinity - you enjoy working with physical devices, setups and technical infrastructure (handheld scanners, POS hardware, SCO)
  • Technical affinity - you pick up new systems, tools and software quickly
  • Native-level German and English, fluent French - all three required
  • Berlin-based - the role requires regular presence at our Berlin office, home office by arrangement
  • Willingness to travel (nationally, occasionally internationally)
  • Full-time
  • Structured, solution-oriented way of working with high quality standards
  • Leadership experience or a clear willingness to take responsibility for a team

Nice to have

  • Experience with project management tools and CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Jira, Trello)
  • Experience with visitor management systems
  • An additional language (e.g. Dutch)

What you can expect

  • A team of 25 - remote-friendly, office in Berlin
  • Coffee snobs with good taste (Rocket Appartamento)
  • Both German and English spoken
  • Everyone chips in where they can
  • Open communication and mutual trust
  • Part of the Tourism Software Group

We offer everyone on the team

  • Solid onboarding into our programs and processes
  • Flexible working hours & overtime compensation
  • Home office option alongside the Berlin office
  • Flat hierarchies and fast decisions
  • Team events like our Nerd Ranch, hiking trips, barbecues, and more
  • A damn good coffee machine (Rocket Appartamento)
  • Option for a company phone and BVG annual ticket
